Introducing the “Me” series:
Neila Ben Ayed's "Me" series is an exploration of the question of personal identity. The artist wants viewers to recognize themselves in his works, which address the themes of self-search and the discovery of our true personality.
This series consists of works that mix the figurative with the abstract, and often uses the color yellow to reinforce the personal and introspective tone of the artist.
Neila Ben Ayed was inspired by the book "Finding your deep identity" by Jean-Paul Lannegrace which addresses questions about personal identity. She hopes her works will help viewers explore their own deeper selves.
